99% of AE, FA, NF, and any other corp you consider as "top tiered" or whatever don't even have close to 40m SP. SP doesn't make you immortal to bullets fyi... 10 mil SP is enough for a person to be very dangerous.
Also, EVERY corp "snatches/poaches" players. The proper term for it is "recruitment", joining a corp doesn't bond you for life... Practically everyone has a corp history, whether it is 2 corps or 15, they have history.
People join a corp because they want something. I joined AE because of my friends in it and I was becoming very uncomfortable with how my old corp was. Some people leave AE for certain reasons and I give them a hand shake and wish them luck. I did the same thing in my old corp too.
By the way, the game has been out for almost a year now, people should not be riding "only because they were in beta" train anymore. Like I said, I have 17.5 mil SP and joined AE with... I think 12-14 mil SP (no joke). I got Dust during Uprising, so the beta blame should really stop.

will never happen because many corps including those in the new coalition only care about there own gains. Right after Eon left, many corps tried to be the new Eon while 2 weeks earlier, they were preaching peace and fairness.
I know because I was in one of those corps, they hated Eon and helped organize FEC but then tried to join an alliance with NS, OH, AE, and Anon to become the next power house. They then got wrecked by Red Star and things fell apart on the inside.
Many wave a flag saying fairness and peace but on the other side, there is greed and a lust for power.

Well... you see, I kept forgetting to feed my Minmatar slaves and they kept dying (lazy bums), so I needed a reminder. I bought some more Minmatar slaves and was going to have my picture as a Minmatar rat so every time I log on, I remember to feed my slaves, but CCP said "We don't accept their kind here". So I had to choose the next lowest thing... Gallente...
