I miss murder taxis. Even murder taxis were better.
I have been playing this game for a full year now and... this is the worst. Really, truly, gamebreakingly bad.
Comparatively, this is the worst FotM of all time, and I would gladly, without a doubt, take on any other FotM over this one - maybe even two since this pretty much is 2 FotMs at once when you add in tanks.
I can't seriously be the only one who feels this way.
1. Tanks are killing the game
2. caldari logi's were the single worst thing in dust, the second being TAC ARs and the HMG nerf
3. the game feels alot more balanced since I see people get killed by CR, RR, AR and Scr
4. Scr is way more OP. its literally the only AR used in PC.
5. AR514 went on since 1.2 till now. Hell the **** no. just because you have all your points in galente ARs doesnt mean it should be the ******* best ass rifle in the god damned game.

all ARs are OP. they can each beat a heavy with an HMG in CQC. even after the HMG buff...
so what does that tell you about the galente AR?

no other gun in the game other than snipers and shotguns wit their obvious limitations, can deal that much damage in 1 shot.
what does that tell you about the Scr?

To be honest the AR schould be best Assault Rifle in game as all other Assault variants should only mimic the AR, just like the SCR should be the best tactical variant, the RR the best breach variant and the CR the best Burst variant. Sadly CCP messed things up...Again...and even though the CPM was quite eager to prenerf the cloak they did nothing to prevent the introduction of these new rifles. We have told them numerous times that this would happen as soon we saw the weapon stats...but no one really cared
then the focus isn't really the CR, RR or Scr being better than the AR. (which the CR isn't better than the AR), but on nerfing the assault variants of the CR, RR, and Scr.
the ACR just would need a bit of a range nerf, by about 5-7% less range. The already high recoil, damage fall off and dispersion will take care of the rest.
the ARR needs again to have its hip fire spread increased dramatically, to reduce its efficacy in close range. it will still be better than the std RR for CQC but not better than the GAR.
Ascr should have a slightly faster overheat mechanic. it has one but you normally obliterate your foe before it becomes a problem. make the ass scrambler rifle have a 10-15% increase to its current overheat time.
doing these will make the galente AR feel more balanced.

I've said multiple times in multiple threads that all rifles are op
its really that everything else is really UP. All niche weapons need a buff in their niche. shotguns got buffed and are doing great. Their proficiency bonus is to fire rate.
NO MORE BLANKET BUFFS! these break the game. We need to BUFF SPECIFIC QUALITIES of a gun to make it more effective at its job.
1. MD needs projectile speed buff, ammo buff (another clip) and ROF buff. 2. Flaylock needs damage buff by 25% (splash and direct) and radius buff to 2m at standard 2.5 at adv, and 3m at proto. It needs a projectile speed buff and an ammo buff (1 extra round per clip and 1 extra clip) 3. plasma cannon needs projectile speed increase of 25%, and 50% more damage, increase reload time (yes this is a nerf) by 25%. keeping all else the same should make it very effective on vehicles and useful verse infantry but prevent spamming because of the reload. combined with other AV efforts it wil be great. 4. HMG needs a slight buff in range by about 5-10%. to be honest though its only just about as effective as an AR right now. since it has more of the role of an LMG right now (AR damage but with a larger clip), it just needs the range to supress enemies. 5. Lazer rifle needs to reach its optimal damage about 25% faster and stay their about 25% longer. This will encourgae its use at both mid and long ranges (remember its still a rifle). Right now other ARs can do so much damage be fore Lazer rifle optimal is reached that by the time you get to your peak damage your dead. speeding it up will buff this gun without more damage. 6. nova knives. 25-50% damage bonus for nova knife melees to the back and/or sides of a character. They are knives with plasma heated blades.... nuff said. 7. Galente AR honestly needs no buff. tons of people use it now because it was already buffed in 1.8. if you check the stats for the new guns you'll see the galente AR got some increased stats as well.

they will not nerf the CR because its actually the MOST balanced assault rifle. honestly, burst fire, most recoil, most kick, the least ammo, highest despersion, highest damage fall off among all the assault rifles.
the CR has THE MOST draw backs of all the ARs.
the galente AR has no draw backs whatsoever other than having the lowest DPS among the assault rifles. it does 425 at militia level. That is still more than enough. considering it has the second lowest damage fall off, no recoil, second highest ammo capacity, no dispersion, its fully automatic, reloads like a boss, has all the variants of the other ARs, and etc....
GAR users are just butt hurt because now they are dying to something other than a GAR. Im because finally im not dying to the same thing every match.
