If you're going to have a symbiotic relationship with a Sentinel then 3 plates 1 rep because you need to be able to survive the shitstorms your sentinel enters. Just my opinion though, I haven't used proto Amarr logi much so I may not be the best to take advice from. Try both combos and see what fits your playstyle better.
