I feel sorry for the kid, but we all had to go through that, (or at least I did.) I started out getting scores like 2/10 and considering that a good match. I was also in a scout suit so...
but I got better by STICKING with it and forcing myself to get better. needless to say, through a year of practice, I can honestly consider myself a good player. I feel a lot of vets can say the same.
while I run proto scout almost 24/7, I also train newbies in my corp quite often as well. this is what vets should do more often. help the newbies instead of always stomping them.
Dito.
I wanna play against, and help committed people.
Quitters and whiners can all just leave the game for all I care.
I stuck with it, despite horrendous adversity. Why the hell should I care about newb crybabies who think they should get everything served to them on a silver platter? |

I'm glad you are not a quitter or a whiner and are up to a challenge, so why not make a fitting that you can only expect to go 2/12 in? If you play in that and improve your game and not resort to playing in your better gear then I'll admit you are right , but right now all I see is whining that you don't want to do that and just want to stomp because you were stomped.
I run bpo-fits 90 % of the time. Kinda hard to "stomp" when your dropsuit, modules and weapons are all basic tier... |

The hardcore instantly on makes it a very unique and mature game.
You said it.
Too many multiplayer games are over-populated with loud-mouthed, snotty teenage boys with the attentionspan of a palsied 4-year old. The hardcore nature of the Eve universe only serve to keep them out. And I for one am thankful for it.
Trying to make New Eden "more accessible to the broader public" would only hurt the game. |
