I am glad you have seen the truth. Ever since 1.7 hit, iv only incountered one noob, I was going to help him out, but I got punched in the face by a fatal error. I never saw him again. In fact, I havent seen any new players from my contacts list since 1.7.
I can't help notice that most protos I run into are AUR variants, I find this vary ironic. If the stomping keeps going as it is then there won't be a growing player base, the dust server will no longer have the funds to stay up, thous shut down, and all money anyone has spent on this game will waisted.
I'd say walk in my shoes for a day, but you probably still won't understand.

Oh please, tell me more! You...missed my point. When I joined, I didn't compare my experience to the blueberries that run around going "Durr!" Granted...it's funny as hell sometimes(I'm such a horrible person), I do try to help. xD The reason I don't "equate" my experience when I joined is because my KDR was a 0.75 constant after I got out of academy. After three months, it jumped to 1.20, and after 7 months(being roughly now), it's jumping to 1.50(currently 1.34). I CAN'T compare my experience to them BECAUSE of that circumstance. Nonetheless, I do feel their pain because I get stomped just as hard as anyone else when there's a full squad of AE, FA, OH, or NS on the opposite team, and possibly even more than that. SO...person who thinks he can belittle me, SHOW ME YOUR SKILLS ON FORUM STOMPING! D:< Edit: I gave you like...you seem to be lacking in them. c; I understand what you are saying, but here's the thing. Do you think your experience 7 months ago is the same state of the game now? I know I sure as hell didn't see as many protos 7 months ago as I do now. It isn't about KDR, it's about being able to actually do anything to impact a battle. If you truly believe there is nothing wrong with the new player experience I challenge you and anyone else who agrees to roll a new character and ONLY use said character for a month. See how far your knowledge of the game gets you and see whether or not you can confidently say that new players aren't boned right now. I made an alt this morning, new psn account and everything. I then proceeded to pretend to know nothing of dust in an effort to test the tutorials. It took me five minutes tops the finish the most vague tutorial iv ever seen. It didnt tell me how dropsuits worked, it just told me to press buttons.
The first two games I played as the alt went well, because everyone had starder fittings and the only variable was player skill alone. Match three, was a five minute proto stomp. I then joined a squad and asked them noob questions. They gave me miss information. I asked "what is a dropship?" They told me I could give other players vehicles with it. "How do you get a strike?" They said you need a special fitting for it. If ccp thinks the kindness of strangers will help newbarries, then they clearly havent seen that many MMOs.
Iv made a free triel account for eve. The tutorial was more helpfull then dust's tutorial. Newbsrries need more time to learn the basics of dust. I perpose that a map should be made for newbarries. It will take place in a simmulater room on the station where Aura will use hologram mercs and/or drones to teach you about equipment, the fighting style of each race, the use of each slot on a dropsuit, and exactly how the skill tree works. Aura may also need to teach newbarries about squads, then have the new squad go into academy battles striclty limited to militia gear.
I'd say walk in my shoes for a day, but you probably still won't understand.
