Anybody have a concrete idea as to when 1.8 is going to drop. I am seriously getting tired of how broken 1.7 left it.
I need to know how much time I have to deal with before I lose it and start playing some other fps.

Mid-Feb to mid-Mar is the best estimate I've heard. Sorry, nothing concrete.
It does seem the Dev's are rethinking the earlier stat changes and suit bonuses they put up earlier. Honestly, I hope those were preliminary and not set in stone because they were just FotM material.

One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.

You know very well that they spend hours and hours testing weapons like the Rail Rifle and Combat Rifle to insure they are perfectly reasonable before being deployed for our use. In fact this testing procedure is so rigid that it appears they need a vacation every month to cope with all the game testing. |

Yep. With most of Shanghai returning to work on the 10th, followed by a few days of getting back up to speed, then implementing anything decided before the holiday followed by a few weeks of CCP and Sony QA it will definitely be March. That doesn't leave much actual implementation time so hopefully all the hard work is already done.
