That is a complete BS. Pay-to-win is the major reason why many free-to-play games end up failing in the "real world", it would end up hurting the player-base and lead to a decline in potential customers. You would have the game wither and die just to have your overpowered risk-free easy-mode suit.

There are many other ways CCP could make money without killing the game with pay-to-win. Race changes, cosmetic options, changes to the race of existing BPOs (without adding new ones) At least with option A you gradually lose money. With option B it is pure profit. Like I already said twice (which you seem to be ignoring), its not just the pay-to-win aspects that are a problem, its the effects it will have when the economy really opens up in the game with player-trading. The ones we have right now in our hangars can produce things without material requirements. I'm confident CCP will bring back blueprints of sorts, but those new blueprints will very much likely require materials to produce. Materials that us Dust players will harvest and provide to Eve Online players. It makes sense that Eve players handle production. They have 11 years experience at handling this kind of stuff. And you have probably earned that (maybe....) but if someone just buys a proto BPO suit early on, they will not respect the economic aspect of the game as they can just 'spam' the best suits in the game without worrying about losing it or going through the mind games of "I've already lost 2 proto suits this games, do I want to continue to ensure we win but potentially make a massive loss or should I use a cheaper suit" which ultimately makes up for a large part of the game because if you can defeat your opponent early on so they do not want to lose any more isk so just use militia stuff, you have also saved isk as you are less likely to die. But if they have proto BPOs, why change to militia/std? So.....when are the um......new dropsuits coming out CCP.....it's been a few weeks now.... ;)
