Spambush.... Why are vehicles even in ambush. I used to love it but,can't even step foot without being mowed down by blaster tanks being shot from the skies by a dropship or being hit in the back by lav when not lookin....and leaving me butthurt.

you knowwhat i kinda agree the amount of vehicles in ambush is getting to high its forcing you to be AV or one of the scrub tankers like my with my 11/0 milt tank with mlt hardeners and fuel injectors
and for those looking for the olf fashion brawl of ambush W/o vehicles spamming or only a couple tho i figure we ought to try to get a new infantry only gamemode
i do belive there is a thread about it already

Ambush needs to be focused on tight city maps and other such areas where tanks and DSes are at a disadvantage.

Man, you really need to shut up. Seriously. It should go without even explaining this to the brain dead, that my views are subjective. My opinions are subjective. That my experiences are my own. I'm not like you, just saying what every other guy says because the rest of the majority says it.
In my experiences, I have been with random people who have pulled out swarms and we all send those tanks flaming back towards their hideouts. We have destroyed tanks. This has happened. I don't say crap just to talk it you moron.
I'm not like you. I just don't bend over and take it. I throw back a haymaker. And no matter what, there's no other weapon that I know of that can take out a tank that I like. So I use swarms. So when I swarm the tank, I get the tanks attention and it affords my team time to kill the opposition that are using the tanks as the pushing lines and defense line to gain kills.
You really need to grow a pair and stop being such nancy. If you're not on that level, then don't bother reading my posts. You will never understand and its wasting both our times.

Swarms are horrible. You either have 3 guys with at least advanced swarms or just have one militia forge gun.

What a horrible post, but let.me break it down for you piece by piece.
The reason it seems that I'm following the opinions of everyone else is because of how obvious the imbalances are, but you can continue ignoring them while I actually try it out first hand and learn for myself.
Let's look at swarms, like the other AV light weapon, they're useless unless you come in numbers using those weapons, which is far from the case with the other, not underpowered forms of AV. I've had many cases where a couple of swarms couldn't match up to another tank or a forge gun.
I'm the Nancy boy yet you've continuously defended a weapon that so obviously outclasses another weapon of the same type in every way, talk about a hypocrite.
I like how you so quickly assume that I choose to do nothing about tanks, yet I've never played with or against you, more crap you've pulled out of thin air.
Maybe if you weren't such an idiot you could see what,the rest of the community already knows, but if ignorance is bliss, I'll let you keep having your fun, since you are the most blissful person I've had the displeasure of meeting.

People say to learn to use AV (mostly tankers) but theres usually 3 tanks if not more on the enemy team.
It's hard to swarm/forge/remote any of them cause in ambush the teams are so compact you'll be lucky if you can get 30 meters within the tank

Why does destroying an HAV require either teamwork, luck, skill ,or a miracle, while piloting an HAV requires no teamwork, SP, or skill at all?

Hey my madrugar needs, love, skill and certianly teamwork if I am to work effectively. However I will say swarms are underpowered.
By the way I found a guy yesterday that was dealing double damage with his forge gun! His forge was ripping through me better than a damage modded proto rail tank believe that or not. He told me he though as much, it must have been some crazy glitch. |

But yea why cant we get an infantry only game mode or game modes? I like my tank but sometimes I just want to shoot infantry. Maybe CCP will put in the work required and this game will have everything. |

The reason us dropship pilots use ambush is because it doesn't allow for red line rail tanks. The reason tanks are so predominant right now in ambush is because swarms and av grenades have been nerfed to the point they can't destroy tanks without 3+ people synchronized or assisting an allied vehicle to kill them, in addition to how the modules work now. If they changed it so you had to invest sp to get these results, the FOTM players would leave, and no I'm not talking about the pittance it takes to skill into HAV operation.

Because there isn't any matchmaking in Dust514.
Until there is a method to limit selection of equipment (including vehicles) there will be no solution possible. If the equipment/vehicle selection could be tied to battle types then that would enable matchmaking. This would enable not only vehicle-less ambushes but vehicle only as well (which have been requested in the past, not by you obviously).
No matchmaking = no solution. Play a different battle type. Ugly answer I know.
