Some of you that have been around long enough, know that I'm a pretty dedicated AR guy. What you may not know is that I've skilled proficiency into all of the racial rifles. Simply because I enjoy that weapon as my main weapon. I am only listing the ADV rifles, because it should be just give or take for the basic or proto variants. Since everybody seems to have an opinion that some of these guns are OP or UP, I decided to write a little PSA on what, in my opinion, is the current state of these rifles. I don't by any means consider myself the best or the most knowledgeable, this is just my opinion. Also I've played this game longer than any other game I've ever played.
GB-9 Breach Assault Rifle Damage 53.55 HP RoF 400.00 RPM Accuracy Rating 57.44 Clip Size 36 Max Ammo 300 Reload Time 3.00s
It's odd what I'm about to say, because I used to use a breach all the time, full proto. A long time ago. Pretty much everybody did, it was the rifle to use at the time. I don't even know why this rifle is on the market. It's great when you're one on one but in the middle of a bigger fight or if you're going against multiple people alone, this rifle will not do. It simply lacks the ability to do enough damage over a period of time longer than a few seconds.
GEK-38 Assault Rifle Damage 35.70 HP RoF 750.00 RPM Accuracy Rating 56.14 Clip Size 60 Max Ammo 300 Reload Time 3.00s
This rifle is very well balanced. It can deal a significant amount of damage in CQ and is very effective at long range. There are two problems. 1) It is less powerfull than the other three (Cal,Min,Am) of it's equal class. 2) I feel as though the iron sights on this weapon hurt it from being able to deal damage when using ADS. The older iron sights were better.
GK-13 Burst Assault Rifle Damage 32.13HP RoF 833.33 RPM Accuracy Rating 55.99 Clip Size 60 Max Ammo 300 Reload Time 3.00s
This rifle is well balanced. It is however underpowered in considering the RS-90 combat rifle, which it is rivaling. I believe that higher RPMs would compensate for this.
GLU-5 Tactical Assault Rifle Damage 74.97HP RoF 400.00RPM Accuracy Rating 47.43 Clip Size 18 Max Ammo 300 Reload Time 3.00s
This weapon is well balanced
CDR-9 Assault Scrambler Rifle Damage 37.80HP RoF 705.88RPM Accuracy Rating 57.73 Clip Size 72 Max Ammo 325 Reload Time 2.50s Heat Build up/s 15.00 Cooldown 9.00s Seize Duration 5.00s Feedback Damage 5.00HP
This weapon is well balanced. I believe, however, that it should either have less feedback damage or have a slightly longer buildup/s.
CRW-04 Scrambler Rilfe Damage 75.60HP RoF 705.88RPM Accuracy Rating 57.73 Clip Size 45 Max Ammo 225 Reload Time 2.50s Heat buildup/s 60.00 Cooldown 6.00s Seize Duration 5.00s Feedback Damage 50.00HP Charge Up Time 2.00s
This rifle is FUN. It is unbalanced. I would like to say that it should get three charged shots before overheating, but I think that would make this weapon too dangerous in the wrong hands. I do however believe that less damage shoulder occur to the user. 30HP should be the max. Single shots however, are too few before the feedback damage hurts you. It's only 16 shots and then the seize causes damage to the operator. This is simply not enough considering how many shots you could/would need when out numbered.
BK-42 Assault Combat Rifle Damage 22.00HP RoF 1200.00RPM Accuracy Rating 59.86 Clip Size 68 Max Ammo 408 Reload Time 2.60s
This rifle is FUN. It is balanced
RS-90 Combat Rifle Damage 33.60HP RoF 1200.00RPM Accuracy Rating 59.02 Clip Size 54 Max Ammo 324 Reload Time 2.60s
This Rifle is balanced
SB-39 Rail Rifle Damage 57.75HP Charge Up Time 0.25s RoF 461.54RPM Accuracy Rating 58.28 Clip Size 42 Max Ammo 252 Reload Time 3.20s
This Rifle is balanced
SL-4 Assault Rail Rifle Damage 45.04HP Charge Up Time .25s RoF 600.00RPM Accuracy Rating 58.35 Clip Size 42 Max Ammo 252 Reload Time 3.20s
This Rifle is balanced
Instead of "fixing" all of the new rifles, I believe that a few of the older ones should get a buff or changes made, to help them compete with some of the newer ones. Something to think about when you're in a gun fight. It's not always the rifle that is killing you. There are many factors that should be taken into consideration when reviewing a gun fight. Such as what loadout your opponent is using, your opponent may not be the only person shooting at you and vice versa, elevation and terrain, common lag, blue shielding, end game skill books, the skill of a player, the skill level of a player.

How do you feel the rifles compare to other guns? or do you not have points put into other things.
How much SP have you invested in to SCr and RR?
Well, someone who is really good at their main weapon is going to be ... well really good at their main weapon. Aside from AR users Annie Oakley II and Morathi III and I(not at the same time) Would look forward to going against eachother and send emails conversing about respect and a little bit about technique. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I really like the challenge, as long as you make me work for it. I do have points put into a few other things and it's not that I don't respect the other weapons, I just really like the AR and feel that's the one I'm best at. I have proficiency 5 into both of those weapons and at least 3 or 4 into each of the three end game categories, reload, ammo. I can't say about those last two right off the top of my head

I'm not so sure that I agree with youabout ARs being way more powerful than the other weapons. I've gone up against shotgunners and they either took me out or really made me work for it. Being an AR users isn't very creative I'll admit but I really feel as though a lot of people just don't spend enough time skilling sp and actual skills into the other weapons. So I think that it just seems that their under powered. I definately don't agree with you about the tactical and burst ARs. I'm probobly the last one to say that someone is using a modded controller, but I've had people come after me with the Douvalle Tactical or the Codewish and I was in some serious trouble. Again I'm not saying those people used modded controllers, I'm just saying it was one hell of a workout. Recently I've gone against people in pubs and they use that Combat rifle like it's their job. I genuinely believe the burst Gallente AR needs a buff for it to be as deadly as the combat rifle.

There is the one person I've seen using the Breach AR lately, I -think- their name is AGENT LIBERTY but they use it very often. I always go .... 'waaaaaaa?' when i see it on the kill feed LOL
You were tellin me about that the other day. If someone is suing that rifle and being proficient, I think it's pretty cool

Except the scrambler pistol message from Godin: I've found that most people don't seem to understand to aim forthe head, and that means that that multiplier doesn't apply in most situations. So yes, the SCP is included in this. No. The ScP is NOT underpowered. The Standard ScP, with no damage mods, and no proficiency, can do 600+ DPS without any headshots. The Carthum Assault ScP can do 4000+ DPS with Prof. V, a few damage mods and headshots. Without all the extra multipliers, it does 773.81 DPS. That being said, it doesn't need a nerf. You practically need to get a few headshots to actually kill someone with it, this is what balances it.
I did make this thread for ARs strictly. However the ScP is a fun and beastly weapon. I've never doubted it's power I do however doubt people's accuracy
