Of course the longer it takes, the more free ISK, which should equate to a higher level of meta on the field. More meta plus Scotty equals stomp. These were not PC groups. If they came into PC they would get crushed. I simply find it sad how you need to use the most overpowered equipment in the game as a crutch as well as Q-syncing just against militiaberries.
From what I see players who have districts locjed up can afford to run proto in the pubs and fw as long as they want. Add that with the amount of players in corp that their just taxing to death, and you have a real problem?! Most small corps q sinc just to compete. Corps like nyain san I have never seen in anything else but proto gear?! I can run proto for a week maybe before I'm financially famished lol?! So as a result I run frontline, basic, or adv gear and just stay mean on the sticks! Running lower level gear actually enhances my stick skills and tactics.
But until CCP figures out how to fix PC, FW, PUBS to now, and add PVE were stuck with this garbage?! You just happened to come across some guys q sincing to hold their own against proto stompers, and they took advantage of the situation to help their k/dr?! They know that doesn't make them good, but some of them don't care about actually being good?! Hence we have lag switchers, campers, and proto stompers?! Pubs should honestly have a g ear cutoff. ADV gear and below so newberries don't get completely annihilated?! FW and PC should allow prot gear and that's it. PVE should allow it all as you are up against the true enemy! Infestations of jove designed mega destroyers!!! ..... just saying ::)
For players like us who haven't built lag switches, don't camp uplinks( cuz frankly the guy who spawns can probably kill me so I take my 5 points killing the uplink and go), and see no need in redlining the enemy we are in short supply. Most of these player want that "I win button" to feel big because in real life their insignificant.
