Hello,
So I was thinking about getting some districts. Firstly I want to have other income sources to rely on than trading with Templar Gear (which is pretty unreliable already), secondly I hoped I could offer the district to video creators and host tournaments.
Now, apart from abusing the locking mechanic (which will surely be fixed with 1.8) the district is vulnerable, which means I need to get a defense contract. In order to assess if the investment is worth the risk or if I'd throw money down the drain, I wanted to ask you guys if you'd like to see stuff like tournaments and a playground for video creators.
Yay or nay?
PS: In order to get a district I'll have to "take" it from someone. I am not involved in this process, but still I don't want to step on anyone's toes. Is anyone aware of a corp/alliance that would be able to provide districts without fighting?

PFC is ideally for fights, not farming PC for isk.

Oh, you. Thank you so much. I needed a laugh. It is going to take them forever to make that one little fix. They've know about the issue for a long time now and did nothing.
Best bet is to wait till district locking is fixed and buy a district from someone. District prices range from 50 to 200 million ISK depending on buyer/seller.
As Kingseeker Kobra said, there are a bunch of corps that you can hire to take districts for you but this is also a bit flawed. You may want to wait till PC 2.0 as right now the mechanics allow small corps with good talent to hold too many districts simultaneously *cough*AE.*cough* Though if you wait for PC 2.0 you'll probably be missing out on that "income" as the ISK payout is too high and that'll be the first thing to change.
IMO, best best to getting a district is buying it from one of the alliances out there that like ROFL or Legacy Rising as soon as district locking is fixed.
