ok so my logi wants to try some ninja fatty tactics
adv sentinel has a scan profile of 65.08 ( siplified to 65)
mlt dampener : - 15% to profile
basic scanner has scan precision of 46
& adv scaner has 36
(assuming there is no stacking penalties to dampeners
ok so 65x.15% = 9.75
9.75x3 (3 low on avd sentinel)
29.25
so 65 - 29.25 = 35.75
this is assuming no penelty nd i im calculating the varialbe the correct way ( -15% damp x3 from total not successive)

Im getting 39.9
65 x .85 x .85 x .85 = 39.9
Also there IS a stacking penelty on dampaners so the accual number should be around 42-45
Not sure how to calculate stacking peneltys |

It should be 65 x .85 x .87 x .91=43.7 or 44 when its rounded |

If I recall correctly, stacking penalties apply to all modules and are as follows
First module is 100% effective.
Second module is 87% effective.
Third module is 65% effective.
Fourth module is 58% effective.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

At level 3 Dampening (since you are talking about ADV dampeners here , im assuming you have at least lv 3)
SENTINEL:
Without dampeners: 61.1 db (Counting the Passive Dampening ONLY)
With 1 Basic: 51.9 db
With 1 ADV : 48.8 db
With 2 Basic: 45.1 db
With 2 ADV: 40.3 db
With 3 Basic: 41.3 db
With 3 ADV: 35.7 db (you effectively avoid ADVANCED scanners)
AT level 5 profile Dampening:
2 Complex Dampeners: 34.3 db (avoid ADV Scanners)
4 Complex profile dampeners: 27.36 (Avoid all Proto scanners except focused)
