Perhaps an "overkill" health bar as well? If you just barly kill the DS/ADs then it crashes as normal, but if enough damage is done it explodes in the air like a vehicle does on the ground when killed and takes the pilot and crew with it. |

I could live with that. Though how much HP of damage would you need for an "overkill?"
Not sure what would be fair,/balanced maybe something high enough that it would normal happen from high Alpha weapons, 700 maybe? |

My Swarm Launcher won the race and they were being to much of an idiot to use an afterburner. Why shouldn't they be punished for it? They're losing the Dropship. How is that not defined as being punished? Pilots of all sorts should always have an option to bail. No, they shouldn't. The AVer did his job. He blew up the vehicle. Why should he be denied the points and kill that he earned? true, but his "kill" is the vehicle, the pilot is just extra bonus points for what ever vehicle he "killed"
If the pilot doesn't die than it is kin to an infantry suit being destroyed and the merc jumping out to continue the fight. I agree that they should have the option to abandon before the killing blow is dealt, but not after. It should be a tactical decision, do you think you can still drive/fly to safety or abandon ship before it takes you with it. |

''I wouldn't mind being locked into the ship so long as i don't have Any Counters except heavies''This is what i read. speaking of not fair, why do redline tanks get to sit there in safety taking pot shots at anything it wants. no risk for massive gain is not a balanced mechanic. the turret itself is fine, but I want to be able to counter it without another railgun tank
Could not agree more. Redline anything is not fair/balanced. |
