Dear CCP,



I'm in a Corporation called "Cobra Connection", and we haven't ran many PC matches, this one against Subsonic being only my 6th match or so. Now if I lose then I lose, I won't complain, but when there's circumstances outside of my control severely killing any chances of me winning, then I must speak up.

CCP this recent match had ridiculous amount of lag, my whole team was transporting around, things were not deploying correctly, e.t.c. I recorded the match, and you'll see what I'm talking about. And no, my internet is not the problem. I have a cable modem and my power levels and SnR (yes, even my upstream SnR is fine, I called my ISP to confirm) are fine. In no other games do I have the "transporting" lag problem.

Cobra Connection vs. Subsonic Synthesis


This whole match was a lag fest, I'll try to point out the worst lag points.


:50 Right off the bat in the beginning of the match the game freezes for every one of my teammates. I don't know if Subsonic was having multiple players deploy equipment to lag us out or what. I'm not trying to accuse them, but it is suspicious this happens right at the start like that, but, again, I can't be sure so I don't want to throw any false accusations out there.






We don't use the equipment lag cheat for the record.

2:05, very laggy, Uplink will not drop

2:33 laggy, transporting enemies, shotgun does NO damage.

8:45 Infinite Falling deploy glitch

16:25-Mutant Heavy with transporting capabilities(lag transport)

11:14 Laggy enemies, enemy transports to completely different location.

17:12-enemy Heavy possibly within Remote Explosive range, does not kill him. Am Unsure.

We don't use the equipment lag cheat for the record. Or any other cheat for that matter.

I wasn't in that battle but I'm pretty sure I know why you guys lagged so badly and lost so gloriously. It's called karma! Your Corp has been in a number of chat rooms spewing your ignorant racist bigoted childish nonsense. You got what you deserved. Please attack us again. We don't lock our front door.

Pretty bad lag in spots but I can sadly say I have seen much worse. I have seen whole games that were like slideshows (early days of PC vs NS anyone?) it is annoying as hell that we still get these lag issues though.

A few tips though these seem to help a little some times, Close any unneeded chat channels, reset the system before the match (I usually reset about 10-15 minutes before a match and it seems to help) those are the only 2 that really seem to help that I can remember at the moment.

I never said anything, don't put nonsense in my mouth. Besides, I left Cobra Connection, too much drama there.

I deleted all unneeded chats, and reset before the match. I don't know what else I can do, I think the rest is server side.

In that case prayer and maybe a sacrificial goat are the only option.

Will a frozen steak suffice? What if I throw in some A-1?
