Okay.
I'm SERIOUSLY tired of these people, Logistics or whoever they may be, Using injectors at the completely wrong time.
PLEASE, Do not revive someone if you clearly see reds incoming or if you are already engaging the enemy.
DO NOT proceed to repeatedly keep reviving players that are obviously not going to make it.
All you're doing is screwing REAL Logistics players right in the bum.
You're making players not want to be revived.
Keep in mind, If they go down again after you revive them, IT DOES count as a death. Please be courteous.
Because it DOES count as a death, People who respect their K/D ratios will hate your guts. Tis' not good.[
I think what would help if CCP updated the revival process. Your death count shouldn't go up if you're revived, Because when you are revived, technically, You haven't died yet. (The instant transferal of consciousness to another battle-ready clone has obviously not happened, Therefore NO DEATH.)
Anyways, I had some tips to share to new Logistics out there:
1. As I said above, DO NOT keep reviving someone if you can't secure the job.
2. If you do see a friendly clone take an arrow to the knee and see that his armor has dropped, Oblige yourself and rip out that rep tool son!
3. If you happen to come across a poor clone who has taken an arrow to the knee and you see that his adventuring is postponed, Have a Nanite Injector handy to revive him. Save those clones!
3a. Just be sure when you are approaching the downed clone, The area is clear. You also have a weapon at your disposal. Use it.
3b. Once the area has been cleared or You believe it is safe enough to revive the clone, Do so with caution.
4. Rep that clone who has just beaten an almost-certain death! A half-armored trooper is only half-ready for battle!
5. Dish out those hives! Your friendly troopers cannot shoot with faith!
6. Do realize, mistakes can happen. Things can go wrong at anytime. Don't be so hard on yourself if something goes wrong on the job. Its something a Logi has to face with all the responsibility given. Just keep doing your job, and focus on your current mission! :)
Hope this little thread helps with some issues I've been hearing and seeing from other players.
Be safe out there troopers! o7
