IDK what you are on about.
I spent several matches last night rigging up jihad jeeps and then using the map to guide corpmates into creating fiery explosions and a rain of lolwannabe tanker tears (might've been a real taker or two in there as well).
Everytime he went out, I got at least 1 kill, several times 2.
Before anyone accuses me of exploiting my corpmates, I will have you know that they volunteered for the honor of being the "RE Express Delivery Courier" and even turned down compensation when I offered it.

While they zoomed around faster the my Subaru wrx I picked my lines and in I go, zoom. Bonk.. Nothing. Not even colission damage to my jeep. Multiple times, many perfect rear endings like driving in Quebec on a Friday night. And nothing but them casually moving away before I even could even jump out and manually detonate.
Did this change. Did tankers white and ***** that it was unfair til it got batted? Or was it just lag514? Gotta have the mine in a spot that will be crushed on impact I think. Either that or hit the tank with enough speed to blow the car apart. If the tank isn't moving sometimes you'll bounce off, or if you don't have relative enough speed. Yeah, in general, it is best to hit the NOS just before impact, though I have had it work with just a slight tap too.

And the sticky aspect for anti-infantry is so much fun. wait, they stick to infantry? I want to turn my heavy into a suicide bomber now. No, they don't (already tried this).

Sorry to get your hopes up by accident, but no, they don't stick to infantry. I more so meant that people haven't yet trained themselves to look on walls or ceilings for REs (just floors), so sticking them in odd but effective places can sometimes get them to go unnoticed. Or sticking them in the driver's seat of unoccupied enemy LAVs as a nice surprise for the guy who got out to hack something
Kinda reminds me of the old Proximity Mines on Goldeneye on the N64. My friends used to absolutely hate playing that with me if Prox were on the weapons list. I was notorious for placing them on lights, the lips of archways and above doors. Above doors was always a great place since them being on the other side of the door didn't trigger it, but when the door opened up.....
So much hate, so many tears....
