Ok, let's see if I can line these all up correctly.
1. OP - history lesson? when I pulled you out of D-Uni, you had talent. Where did you take it? only the most notorious district-locking corp out there. When you point fingers of bandwagon, look at the 3 pointed back at you. You aren't leadership, PD leaders hardly inquired as to CAP's opinions on any matters etc., therefore we owe our considerations to no one.
2. Our withdrawal from alliance was a reflection on the direction it was taking: simple as that. We stuck around through two wars with alliance, lost everything TWICE - thus proving we stand by those around us, no matter the cost. You're oblivious to the price my guys have paid defending platforms and deals we weren't privy to. Fusion, how much has mL lost for pd ever?
3. Leaving had absolutely NOTHING to do with ringers or help from anyone. I don't blame STB/ML not ringing for losing our land, I didn't ask them for help nor did I want it. When NS attacked everything we owned, we brought 16 CAP to every match and fought valiantly. When we could have abandoned PD to keep our land and save ourselves, we stood by our brothers in arms for one last hurrah. Tex and I didn't form this corp to ring out; if the men play, they deserve to compete.
4. We did, in fact, go independent. I sorely can attest that Cubs is right. Versing 8+ ringers defending four WarRavens locked districts that we sniped a week ago, we realized that 120 isn't enough clones when elite ringers have zero integrity in earning paychecks they don't need anyway. Without resolving to utilize the dirty tactics 70% of MH landholders do to keep their land, which we will never do, we found it difficult to progress alone given MH's current state-of-affairs.
5. We entered RA to squad/fight alongside people my guys enjoy playing with, as was the original case with PD (Sax Rage). Our time at PD was thoroughly enjoyed, as clearly stated in the withdrawal letter, and no malicious intent was behind it. Our relations with many individual alliance members remains constant, as does the friendships built between CAP's guys and theirs.
In the end, it's all about the guys and what it is THEY seek to fulfill out of this game. We leaders are merely facilitators, illustrating the group's opinion and exercising it fully without injecting selfish pursuit or gain. My men have fought without a paycheck from locked districts since we formed, and I wouldn't rather be surrounded by anyone else. We don't seek to gain elitist players by taking land and locking it, barring the community from genuinely enjoying this game for what it is. Rather, we men & women at CAP have forged a team as well as a family and hope to defend a MH free of exploits. Those among you wishing the same from your corp, voice it. When CCP fixes these farming fools, we'll see who has the talent then
All other questions, comments, inquiries can be directly funneled into their nearest receptacle.
All dry cleaning, please forward to OP.
