So, is changing your mind not acceptable behavior by your standards?
can anyone remember the name of the teacher from Charlie Brown?
I think their gaming handle is 'Arirana'

Translation- we've been losing members left and right and losing PCs just as fast, please help me get a recruitment bonus and join our dying corp while we lock our districts to prevent any more morale loss

so much troll..
now for the facts.
Cap Acq is a class act (maybe a little too public with some things), same with Neanderthals( who have since gone in different directions, but both came up around the same time). I sold Cap Acq AND Neanderthals their first districts, gave them insight to the PC world and they grew from there. Quite proud tbh of where they are now from where they started, and I continue to watch their growth and maturing in this game.
QG was directly involved with both from the start, providing that alliance backing and aid in a way only QG could do.
now that QG isn't really the day-to-day face of the organization, as well as time goes by and things often change, 1 way or another, its not surprising to see Cap Acq leaving.
at the same time, RA has become The Walmart of dust, everyone's welcome, constantly rolling back prices, and their headquarters are located in Arkansas...
this is not a knock on Cap Acq. fact of the matter is you cant roll solo in Molden Heath. Of course they probably shoulda had a good long talk with DDB and the 'support' they get night in night out. DDB hasn't yet learned they are solely used for their EVE support and aside from that 0 fhuks given about their livelihood...
sorry DDB, I really am, and I can only assume Cap Acq will learn this soon enough as well. Nyain San just flocks to whoever keeps the heat off them at the time, and undoubtedly will move elsewhere in due time. such is the nature of the beast
Shephard is a standup guy, and Im sure he will be looking at the state of things and wont hesitate to pull out when he gets a whiff of whats really going on.
just be patient. people have to learn for themselves

Shepherd Grey wrote: 4. We did, in fact, go independent. I sorely can attest that Cubs is right. Versing 8+ ringers defending four WarRavens locked districts that we sniped a week ago, we realized that 120 isn't enough clones when elite ringers have zero integrity in earning paychecks they don't need anyway. Without resolving to utilize the dirty tactics 70% of MH landholders do to keep their land, which we will never do, we found it difficult to progress alone given MH's current state-of-affairs.
you realize these jabs just bounce off my extremely thick and non-Canadian skin right?
I have plenty of integrity. I don't take bribes from the other side to leave a battle ive already been paid to play, or to 'tank' my effort because the other side offered to pay me to do so.
I even seem to recall a meeting you and I had recently, where you specifically asked if I was hired by the other side for the match later that evening. I said no, I was available at the time as you approached me first. you declined, the other side approached me later, and I was on the other side... nothing personal, just business.
I respect you not using 'ringers' but you need to get over yourself. Its as much a part of the game as the dreaded 'protobears' in pubs.
seriously, consider your options here. I stay a mercenary and my guys are only paid by those asking for help, and business is good.
I go the other route, and all of a sudden your wife, kids, pets, and even Rampages blow-up doll are homeless or living in a 1974 chevy station wagon.
I think most prefer me staying a neutral merc, except apparently you of course

DJINN Kujo wrote:To set the record straight for everyone - AE is not the only corp in RA.
AE. though has continued close relations with Shepherd Grey from Capital Acquisitions LLC. Nyain San had attacked all their districts and offered them their land if they left PD. They essentially told Nyain to suck it and stayed for the fights and took the loss for their alliance.
Their nobility is strong, I actually haven't even been on to welcome them and they have been in for a few days now, sigh *work*. So some of you are right about them being on different playing ground and that's fine. But a promise to Capital Acquisitions I personally made to them was that I would help them succeed, which I know is going to cause a lot of questions. As in, will AE. be helping them take land? Answer is no. - For a long time, a lot of veteran corporations have told me to help a lesser experienced corporation out, well that's what my goal is with Capital Acquisitions. Although my own activity is shaky, I will still render any resources I have at my personal disposal to help them. No, not ISK either. Just fundamentals of PC and the competitive roots this game has in opposing points of view.
wont play their matches...check shepherd wont let u play their matches....check
ahhh i get it now. give em some land so they dont have to qq about clone packs, and keep supplying them when they run out, at a cost of course.
good business model wish i woulda thought of it.
bottom line good PR for an alliance in need of such. good move
and tbh having Cap Acq to help your alliance is way more of an asset. they dont back down and turtle up :P
Bowser FTW
