I've now pretty much decided that I would only play only on the weekend after all the big boys and tank squads have finished capping out during the week.
I can't seem to find an ounce of enjoyment anymore while playing. I'm almost on my way out. Just a couple more weeks of this garbage imbalance and I'll be done. Weaning off this game slowly.
You all can have my ISK. I've got 470K left! Split it =]

I'm just playing till I run out of ISK, which will be soon. I only enjoy flying, and can't be bothered to spawn on the ground anymore in most cases.
So, either I run out of ISK and take a long break, or 1.8 doesn't come with at least a full infantry respec, and I take a long break.
2 years of this **** show has been just about enough for me, personally.

This game is as fun as the people you play with I've found. I've been going strong for about a year and a half now because I have good group to play with, without that the game is terrible and you're grinding just for the far off future
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

I took a 5 month break.. didn't miss it much. Now that I am back.. it just gets too frustrating to deal with the same simpleton bugs all the time.
This game has become a pile of garbage code. I anticipate waiting it out till 1.8, but expect it to suck just as bad. So after the new veneer fades on the new scout suits, I'll probably toss my toon into cold storage. this might go down on the top ten list of the worst developed games. ever. Right between that pile of **** called warZ and farmville.

I actually enjoy playing the stomping matches (been in plenty of Ambushes). It lets me learn and how to adjust to new tactics and employ them for myself. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't an Isk drain though.

To be completely honest, I had lots of fun playing before 1.7. Nowadays with 3 tanks a match and protostompers and tanks all over ambush, it's hard to be competitive in the game. The only thing I find fun (and cheap) is running around in a mlt scout shotgun

Well ccp has already proven that they won't try to fix the game. They have this belief if they pile more crap into the game it will magically some how fix all the coding problems and every glitch, bug or exploits. But we all now that IV Ben playing for about 2 and half months and every glitch or bug IV found IV Ben told ccp already knew of those and said that would be fixed..and guess what? Nothings Ben fixed the are not trying at all to put it perfectly clear. I went from just having spent time playing this game to wasting time playing this game. So ccp are you actually going to do something useful with all the cash you have conned out of the players. |

Take a break. Come back a week or two after 1.8 and CCP has had a chance to hotfix the inevitable bugs. If that doesn't do much for you, wait for 1.9, 1.10, 1.11 or whatever comes next. Keep checking back while banking up passive SP. There's no subscription, so there's no penalty to taking a break.
I actually think CCP has done a good job fixing bugs since release. If you remember how bad things were at the 1.0 launch, what we have today is so much better. Balance issues are still major issues, and it feels like the development team is understaffed, but I get the sense that DUST is improving over time. I really like the direction things are moving in with 1.8, and I still think the game has a bright future coming over the next 18 months, as they polish, expand, iterate, and eventually migrate to the PS4.

Swarms are shit. They always have been, though perhaps for different reasons.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.

I can't believe the impatience all of you guys have. I'm sitting on a meager 11 million lifetime SP, but I'm doing pretty well for myself. I came into Dust 514 8 months ago not knowing a single **** how anything worked, but I kept at it becoming better, stronger.
Now I'm running in one of Dust's best corps with plenty of ISK to take care of myself.
Being succesful in Dust 514 really isn't that hard.

Swarms are fine i can get adv or proto swarms some complex dmg mods 3 is best some std av nades re's and maybe proximity explosives and i can take on any tank that come my way because i invested in the work and fitting and the money to kill them |

Our squad takes out anger on tanks a little more often now. A few of us have just about maxed out swarms, our tanker went pro rail, the logis went RE, av nades, and lots of ammo. An av squad has brought a sense of stickin it to the man/san/chan. I laugh soo hard when we blow their tanks and their buddies tanks, my burn out increase when my buddies are offline... Otherwise.... The only thing I come on for is to socialize with my good friends. To be honest I've got every skill to 5 that I could ever want. All that's left are more guns or more suits. So the SP isn't even a problem anymore. I don't even bother skilling into anything anymore lol.
I just come on when friends text me to play a match or two. I'd rather play minecraft or some other game. Waiting on "The Division" to come out!
