I don't mind the toughness, but come on....less than 1 mil worth of HAV can wipe out a whole team twice over.... costing the team a lot of ISK (It is almost as if CCP wants Both sides to use vehicles in a fight!)And as a game earlier "proved" (surely beyond the shadow of a doubt) there is little you can do V 2 rail tanks camping and 3 blasters pimp rolling the map.... it's near impossible to combat that BS (here's an idea get your 4 friends and call in 3 rail tanks and 2 blasters.)

and wait, MLT are too accessible to reds, but not so for the blues on your side of the MCC. correct me if you will but that is what Im hearing.
Just look around, Tanks are fighting other tanks! that is a good thing. pre 1.7 this would never happened! ever! but wait STOP teh press guys! one lone wolf AVer can't clear the field of tanks and swap back to his stomping suit!

Tanks need to be slower, and large turrets need to be built around the idea of destroying vehicles and installations. Should a tanker want anti-infantry capabilities, he should fit small turrets and get some people to fill them. Tanks should fear infantry getting close, especially in urban enviroments.
LAVs should be about killing infantry. small turrets are the infantry killers, and there should be an LAV that the driver can control the small turret. LAVs should be able to tank swarms and be fast enough to avoid forge guns. They should have bonuses to small turret (damage, range, splash radius, etc) They should fear tanks, especially in open plains where theres no obstructions to hide behind.
Infantry should be able to easily run up and place RE on a tank. Swarms and forge guns should easily apply their damage to tanks, and tanks shouldn't be able to fight back, save with fitting small turrets, which will not be as efficient as LAVs using small turrets. Infantry should fear LAVs, which can swoop in, tear them up, and leave before a counter attack can be organized.

5 Commandos .. a recent class added to the game ... and then only 2 assaults ... 2 logi's ... 2 heavies .... 5 scouts ????? Huh ??? A specialised class aimed at stealth and surprise and you want 1/3rd of the entire 16 players devoted to being stealthy 1 man bands ???
Seriously just don;t even make a comment about Infantry as you obviously have no idea about what it's liek as the boots on the ground |

(1)wow we agree (2) never said they were, but they do work. (3) admittedly I laid the hate on a little thick in my last post, you have my apologies , d1ck (4) you don't have to change a single thing, though it would be wise for you to make friends with a few good tanker. someone like you could drastically change the outcome of a vehicle battle where as on your own you're a nuisance or minor threat at best.
on topic, I disagree. there are already vehicle limits in the game and to give one type of play the short end of the stick isn't fair to people who chose to spec into that role or to causal tankers who see a need on the battlefield.
