Can someone help me and tell me what some of the common abbreviations used in the forums are? I've been playing Dust for almost a year now, but never came on the forums until now, because I've recently become addicted to it again. For example, I know what FW means, (Faction Warfare... right?), but what about QQ, or PC and a lot of other abbreviations that I see when I read through the forums, normally it's kind of easy to infer the meaning but I'm having trouble. Sorry for the noob questions and what not, but everyone's got to learn somewhere. |

FW: Faction Warfare PC: Planetary Conquest, Personal Computer, or Politically Correct, depending on context. QQ: (crying) Technically an Emoticon rather than an Abbreviation. Looks like two eyes with tears. TTK: Time To Kill DPS: Damage Per Second
For Weapon abbreviation look here.

AA: Aim Assist OP: Over Powered, or Original Poster depending on context UP: Under Powered For Weapon abbreviation look here. Thank you sir, I had a feeling about QQ but I just wanted to clarify that. But all the others are much appreciated, now I can probably understand some of the forum posts now. |

Any of the rest I can think of are just shorts for weapons RE - remote explosives CR - combat rifle FG - forge gun etc etc
If you come across one that's not on one of the previous lists its likely its a weapon

Instead of clogging up the rookie barracks with a bunch of questions, I thought I'd just ask here again.
Are Warbarge Strikes only available to Eve players? If not, how do I do it?

Warbarge strikes are given to squads after they reach an accumulated amount of WP, they get one each time they accumulate that many points (I forget the amount). The Squad leader calls in the strike from a map overview much like when squad leaders are setting objectives. You must have at least one other player in your squad to be awarded a warbarge strike, lone wolfing after hitting form squad won't count. |

Thanks bud, really helping me out. A friend and I play all the time and squad up, but we never knew how to do it. I'm guessing its a big number to call down a Warbarge.

2500 total WP
@Original question: Hit right on D-Pad and select "Off map Support" once your squad has accumulated the required WPs. Only squad lead may make use of the strike and will be given all the kill credit. It is wise to scan the area before your SL(squad Leader) calls in the strike to receive "Intel assists" for each kill.
Also note that in FW and PC the warbarge strike is replaced with an OB (orbital bombardment) which requires an eve pilot (squad WPs will not effect OBs but you must still be SL to direct a strike).
