ive been a demolitions expert ever since the wonderful minmatar logi type 2/B
alot of people hate on the slayer logis because of the advantages they gain through forsaking or minimising their equipment but what about demolitions experts?
on defence im a HUGE pain in the ass and on the assault i will hack your point faster then you can do a 360 (max hacking ftw)
demos however dont forgo their equipment, good hives and explosives are key, and if your like me uplinks and scanners to add to team/squad utitily are a must.
my question is simple, are demolitions logis an acceptable form of "slayer" logi? and if so then what other uniqe logi fits would also be acceptable? |

Slayer Logis forgo equipment entirely in order to fit more mods.
You have not described this. Therefore you are not a slayer logi. |

but i act more like an assault suit then a typical logi, i slay like the best of em :P
i am more support oriented however and im not nearly as much of a threat without my sacaficial blueberrys. |

If you're focused on demolitions, you're not a slayer afaic. That role is called an engineer in today's terms I think. Slayer makes me think you have to be making most of your WP from some sort of rifle, with a fit that complements the rifle and a frontline vanguard position (i.e. damage mods, tanking mods, etc)
That doesn't sound like what you've described. |

That doesn't sound like what you've described.
30+ kill games with 6 or under deaths are normal.
2/3s of my kills now are from my rifle, 1/3 fromt he remotes
about 1/2 to 2/3 of my WPs from kills.
back with my SMG as primary before the combat rifle came along it was the other way around with remotes being 2/3s
im a defencinve expert, if im dug in somewhere its a giant pain in the ass to get me out.
on assault im not about killing, im more about putting REs on top of red uplinks and fluxing the rest, then moving in for the ninja hax. basically im an oversized not so stealthy scout. |

i use them like a primary weapon... of all the people in the game... im the one who truly spams explosives |

Honestly, do what you want. I run demo logi and consider myself a slayer. Why do you need the approval of the people you are killing?
Scanner + REs + dampening is a surefire way to ruin a proto squad's day, even if they are redlining the rest of your team. |

Basically if you are using logi to fulfill that would require either multiple players or trips to a supply depot then you are not a "slayer logi".
The so hated "slayer logi" who uses a logi suit without equipment to max out PERSONAL gear.
You are instead a "Combat Logi", unlike your "logi bro" brethren your presence is still a bonus to your squad not just yourself. But the role of your equipment is very circumstantial therin you will spend the majority of your time in combat.
Other acceptable "Combat Logi" roles: (Please note, named roles may not be currently available or complete with currently available equipment)
Communications Officer
Combat Engineer
Grenadier/Demolitions
and probably many more I doubt I could think of.
