I really want to like the ion pistol, I like pistols with big magazines, and I like weapons with optional charge, but the low DPS combined with low range is a crappy combination. As for the charge shot, its not enough to one-hit-kill (which is fine) but its also overheat after every charge shot. While I love the concept, I'll just stick with my trusty old SMG, I'm usually not a pistol guy anyway.

Not going to use pistols much since i'll mainly be Commando, but I'll use scrambler pistols on my Sentinel. Trusted age-old weapon in Dust, and if I must resort to a sidearm I want something that rewards accuracy.

Flaylock takes the most skill
Breach scrambler headshot does the most damage (690 with prof V)
Ion pistol will be the worst sidearm except mabey the flaylock.
Strange how all the gallente weapons are weaker than most

What range do we currently have and I hope 1.8 they have the Tactical pistol on the market and have proto breach, burst, and tactical, if I analyzed their range chart correctly.

Seeing as i'm a generalist, i usually skill them all to level3, and then i just use only minmatar to 5+.
If i had topick one, Flaylock.
If i had to erase all other sidearms from my skill plan and use one? ion- because of the variable damage, i could easily utilise that as a finisher burst/scout killer.
