I love the LOB I work with and I am pretty sure most of the Devs that work with CCP enjoy developing the game. And generally when you are in these kind of environments where you are actually doing something cool with other people you get along with them. Very rarely you would see that you have to work with a numnut and it generally ends up being your manager or the business user.

With that in mind I believe with the kind of interaction Logic Loop had with the community leads me to believe that he just got tired of doing things he didnt like at work. Speculation aside I have seen a quite a few devs who had good interactions with the community no longer with CCP.

Either that or it could be something like the WOD fiasco.

According to his Linkedin, Jason Spencer, better known here as CCP LogicLoop, was the Senior Level Designer at CCP Shanghai from March 2012 to November 2013. The only work he was apart of from start to finish was the new sockets in the Gallente Research Facility Set, many favorites among the community, and most of the upcoming Caldari Production Facility Set. Part of what the community loved about CCP LogicLoop was how active he was with the community, constantly responding to as many questions on the forums as possible, talking with everyone on the IRC, and letting people know what projects he was working on well before they saw the light of day. And towards the end of his stay at CCP he started giving frequent updates on his Twitter account, which he did all the way up his last days! We can only hope some of this mentality rubs off on the rest of CCP! So CCP LogicLoop, you may not ever see this, but nonetheless I would like to say, "Thank you!"
