Having done tanking for awhile now, I find that I really just don't care for blaster tanks. To me that's just almost cheap. However I do love running gunlogi rails for AV.

I hear ya. I find myself usually always in that situation just resolving myself to cover everyone who is hacking. Sometimes I end up getting more points than if I just did the hack myself, plus we aren't going to all die and loose the objective.

TY, the idea came to me a few weeks ago when I was looking at some Star Wars memes. You seem to be a commando expert. I'm looking after this respec to get out of logistics. What do you think of commando suits?

I actually ran a commando suit a long long time ago (way back in very early summer) on a different character and hated it because there were no slots or grenades. I guess for play style I can vary it. I've been running logistics for so long that I've been a kind of "do everything" type of person. REs and gunlogis for AV, also REs for covering objectives, uplinks for strategic respawns, hives for resupply, repper and injector for heals. Plus I always carry a scanner for people to drop OBs in perfect areas, and to light up the radar around objectives for the squad. However, I'm getting sick of that, and tired of being the go to gopher and "hurry up and get over here" person. I'm always hearing "who's got ammo? Who is running uplinks? Anybody got AV? You got any of that stuff Lehon? Got a repper to follow my HMG suit? Hurry up and get to a supply depot to swap suits so you can get that stuff. Man, hurry up and get that gunlogi in here before we get steamrollered at X by these Madrugars." That stuff is getting old and it's a HUGE Isk drain overall, particularly in pubs. Currently have about 14 different suit fittings just for my Callogi. It's nuts.
So play style doesn't really matter. I've been a just run and gun person. I've stood and directly played weapon ranges with RR, picking people off from max distances from in buildings. I also have done sniping on an alt. Did shotgunning long ago when it actually was fun. Used to do forge gunning also. About the only guns I haven't done much with are MD, HMG, and most side arms.

Alrighty. Pick your 2 fav weapons, and put the basic variants on the basic commando. Equip a compact hive. If your rolling solo, stick with the pack of blues, make sure there is at least 3-5 blues between you and the closest red. In a squad, stick near the logi, a logi + commando = god mode that tanks only dream of ^.^ I'll be on tomorrow in commando squadron if you want to squad :)
I was thinking in terms of weapons, a RR and assault CR wouldn't be a bad combination. RR for the long range picks, ACR for close encounters. Way back I used to carry AR and shotgun, but neither of those are of much effect anymore sadly. Going to have to wait for respec though as I just sunk a large portion of SP into tanks and level 4 core electronics for suits.
