Why they have to burn?
It's not so difficult, if nobody use it and the enemy don't destroy it, give it back to the player.

I can't jump out of my vehicle for 2 minutes to hack a point.
When i look for my vehicle.... gone........
Do something please

-2 for an easily abused suggestion
No,if you get out of your HAV you don't deserve to keep it.
This would allow HAV drivers to speed around and use hack modules to abuse the unkillable tank.
E.g Hop out to hack,see an enemy,hop back in and kill them being safe from death yourself,hop out and proceed to hack....wash,rinse,repeat.

I don't follow you, you have described what already happens.
You really think that HAV pilots would leave their tanks to hack an objective?
If i see a red tank without pilot i hack it.
Probabily you dont' understand what i'm talking about. I will make you an example.
I call a LAV > a sniper kill me > my LAV explode because i can't go back fast enough.
or
I jump out of my LAV > i need to hack a red point > enemies in my way > i clear the area > i hack > my LAV explode because i can't go back fast enough.

i disagree i am a vehicle pilot and i think that if you get out of a vehicle you should run the risk of losing it
vehicle should never recall themselves
the current system was made to stop people from filling up the team quota with useless vehicles
however i will agree that this needs a little bit of work as it really too strict right now
