Yea, I just want to play against a competent foe, with a competent team. I haven't joined a PC corp, but I kinda don't want to. I play casually and might not have "free" time to play a staged battle. Why can't we just set up our own engagements. Don't want to get stomped by cheese anymore.

If so, what would stop cheese tactics... never said anything about not losing ISK when you die... there are still pubs and FW to earn some gear but the corp battles would be only for standings aka rated matches in other games Hell make it a Harcore Version... No minimap, no scanners... Definitely No AIM ASSIST
No scanners? That's kinda what this game is about. But, you could get ride of the mini map and scans then show up as bright red carrots on your screen still. No AA is fine too.

I would enjoy this more than random pubs all the time. The inconsistencies are the biggest issue with pubs.

Really? You can't win both PFC and Pubs. Where will the low tier players win? Corp battles are for players not as committed as PC players are. And if PC becomes less popular due to corp battles, doesn't that reflect what the community wants?
