been a while since I played this but the other day I came across an Amarr Logi... he was a sniper..... I thought for a laugh I would just fly about in my viper and use my BPO for the (keep things cheap)..... on getting close to him my viper started taking damage from him after 5 shots it had gone down and I hat to bail
He had a Sniper rifle and a Scramble pistol....what other weapon would he have been carrying to do damage to the Viper??
And yes it was him causing the damage to it.....
would it have been an Av grenade ??... how far can you throw those things, I was quite close to him

How do you know it was him damaging your DS, exactly?
Five hits = nanohive. Did he have one? If not, was someone else.
In future, don't expect people to answer you instantly. Try not to act like a spoilt child, m'kay?

Oh and Blaze cheers....... turns out my mate use's this tactic.. works on inexperienced dropship pilots he says...we get to close apparently ...

I do to. But I also have a funner tactic thats good for securing towers from dropships, proximity mines + remote explosives spaced with an uplink in the center. It's a godsend in domination and some skirmishes. Used to be my counter to tower forges.

sounds like a plan...may have to spend some SP.... or should I wait till 1.8...hmmmmm the choices
