Is there a point to them in DUST 514? No They don't play a role yet. They need to, and other newer vehicle frames also need roles. As I see it the roles should be this LAV- Cheap, Fast, Lightly Armoured, Good Anti Infantry Capacity on Light turrets MAV- Moderately Expensive, Moderately Armoured, Medium Anti Infantry and Vehicle Capacity, Anti Infantry or Infantry Support. HAV- Expensive, Heavily Armoured, High Fire power, AoE Rounds, Anti Vehicle Focus "My Faith in you is absolute; my sword is Yours, My God, and Your will guides me now and for all eternity."

No really? no role? and you have the audacity to whine about tanks? let me tell you a tanks role, A TANKS ROLE IS TO KILL OTHER TANKS AND TERRORIZE AND DEMORALIZE INFANTRY JUST LIKE IN THE REAL WORLD, DUH. if you guys hate blasters so damn much wha the hell are you idiots going to do when amar laser turrets are released or minmatar auto-cannnons because i will gaurentee they too will rampage on infantry just as easily But tanks do not typically directly engage infantry..... though they do provide a platform for gunners to engage infantry. Most real world armoured vehicles are geared to deal with other vehicles. Their weapon and still kill infantry....but aren't directly designed to.
