Or is FW horribly one-sided?
Amarr and Caladari get kicked to pieces. It isn't even a battle. It's just a red-lining route for pretty much every single game I participate in. |

Q-syncing in a whole team can make a huge difference for a Caldari match. However, even if you cause a string of wins on the Caldari side it all gets washed away in moments. Gallante maintain 100% warzone control within minutes of any Caldari victories.

I play a lot of Gallente FW because, well, I'm Gallente. National pride and all that. The only time we ever lose is when up against Q synced squads or sabotage. Even when playing with gallente randoms vs. caldari randoms, gallente always wins. It really makes me wonder what kind of player queues up for their side... |

Does warzone control actually have any meaning at all? Does it possibly effect things eve side because it seems to mean nothing dust side. |

It makes a difference to pilots who are trying to flip or defend a system. The more dust control their side has, the bigger the bonus to their side in space.

Squad leader I ran with for a bit yesterday took us into MinFW and the Amarr side was basically TeamPlayers and FA (I think it was FA). They redlined us with 9/10+ of their MCC shields intact and 130+ clones to go. The Minmatar FW fighters were so bad that even after I and my SL broke out of the redline (he ran in a HEAVY suit, btw) NONE of them chose to spawn on uplinks I set, instead continuing to sit in the redline. It wasn't until I hacked a CRU that a single blueberry spawned, and he, my SL and I went for NULL hacks at the very end of the (losing) match.
TL/DR Cowardice or lack of combat wherewithal is not faction nor race specific.

yep, unless you run into sync or sabo you will win with Min/Gal FW. I have noticed a large increase in Sabo against Min, usually by 1-2 corpmates of the predominantly sync'd team on the other side. |

Its due to Amarr and Caldari not being terribly popular as racial groups in Dust 514, Coupled with no need to for loyalty or standings.
I only play for the Amarr however much of the Amarr LP store leaves a lot to be desired, with no HAV or vehicles.....
Its primarily player imbalances and a poorly designed attack/defend contract system.
Many have already tried to discuss with Devs the need for a sliding scale of Offensive/Defensive Contracts and district locks. The biggest indicator of this is that if you pay attention to which districts you fight in you will see the same exact district constantly being under attack the moment you finish your previous battle.
Cubs had 6 defends on one district the other day.
Aero, Aisha, and myself have fought 3-5 battles per day back when the AMarr FW was in full swing on the exact same districts back to back. That is not right. No race can get out of the hole once they are in it either without a massive burnout, which is unlikely as FW is an easy grind for Min Gal, or insane effort on the oppositions part.

Its primarily player imbalances and a poorly designed attack/defend contract system. Many have already tried to discuss with Devs the need for a sliding scale of Offensive/Defensive Contracts and district locks. Amarr are theocratic slavers and Caldari are corporate dictatorships so naturally they're not as popular. Thus not as many people select Amarr or Caldari opposed to Gallente or Minmatar. Because of this, the players who have all four factions selected get thrown into Amarr and Caldari teams so matches can start.
If we assume that players who hand select which faction they fight for are better than players who have all four factions selected then that explains why there is such an imbalance.
I'd love it if they changed the mechanics slightly so you start out with no factions selected and in order to play a match of FW you must manually select at least one faction, though you could still select all four if you want but that's your choice. Queue times would be longer, but matches would be more intense.
