True story. Local showed 2 random dustbunnies in B-R during yesterday's record-breakingly expensive supercap fight yesterday. There's no legit reason for them to be there. Not only are there no DUST battles created in that region (AFAIK - maybe some random battles might), but DUST characters never technically move between systems (you can prove this for yourself by checking your local chat while in a fight - your session is still in your home system).
So what was it?
Were the devs testing something that needed a system that was TiDi'd to ****? Did they stealthily test a planet-based anti-ship cannon and nobody noticed in the carnage? Or was it just the node taking a **** in a fun new way? |

This is highly suspect. I noticed it too in the video now that you brought it up. There are currently no mechanics in place that would allow a Dust merc to be anywhere near null-sec let alone be in the same system where the most epic battle is taking place unless that merc happens to be a DEV.
