You tell us how that date goes when you get a girlfriend and stop taking your mom out to taco bell |

Super carriers have access to fighter bombers, basically anti battleship and up type fighters and they can bring serious amounts of electronic warfare and logistical support (they can black out an entire fleet when fired right) Titan hulls are generally 70 billion unfitted by raw materials only. Star base fuel and protection are thrown on top of that when being sold to outsiders. To put things in perspective though the last major fight with a whole lot of titans dying only saw 11 of these things killed. Early reports suggest as many as 90 died yesterday. The Nidhoggur is the ship i want most, but i just want to stick crap loads of artys on it and not control tons of fighters |

o,o
I always love hearing about these stories.
I don't think Dust will ever have the "same" type of stories though. Our battles are limited by a few factors such as time, red lines, and clone count.
Our stories will be different. I can see us being intertwined into those big ole capsuleer wars as tools but I feel like the best of Dust(and EVE) will shine in joint campaigns and theatres of wars.
I mean despite how people try to "meh" the Eon War, having the same type of war on a bigger scale with way more options and fleets actually being a big part of the battle would be unarguably worth talking about.
Those are the type of battles that will really bring players to and back to Dust. Actual military tactics being used for military-like battles with various names being made from subordinates, to squad leaders, to field commanders. Members, corps, and alliances being written down in legend due to word of mouth, True Stories, comic books from Dark Horse, and actual movies. The first series of games right now that transcend their platforms.
