Proper Etiquette the decrees the following base line rules.
-Once the sortie is initiated, all participants are in no means able to switch out to a projectile based
weapon.
-If a party of ones affiliated has crashed said sortie, then the affiliated party shall remove themselves
from the situation and give chance to the defender to slay the outside provoker. If the dueler proceeds to be
victorious then the duel shall begin once again.
-Procedure for initialization from the front is to display in front of the challenge.
The once under challenge must display either knife or show that there is no knife accessory in the current load.
To which the challenged shall give ample time for the challenger to recover oneself for a shootout.
-If set party wishes to initiate a duel from behind the enemy, the challenger must understand the risk of death
is not only high, but reasonable. The challenger should shoot below the chest if possible once to grab the
attention of the target. After which quickly display their blades and stop advancement. Advancement will be e
taken as an act of attempted homicide.
-Slashes you're knives at an obvious distance shall be regarded as a request for duel when facing an opponent.

This is how you tell the old from the new, although during this shinobi event ( which I finished) I shoot cuz their worth money but if the guy wants a knife fight I ll give him one, but if that gun comes out after I flash my knives, I ll switch to a gun for the rest of the match.
But outside the event if I see a nk user I ll message them an challenge them on the south side of any map, least that was the old established code

chaosdragon tried to do this with me. Unfortunately I freaked out and he was forced to kill me.

yea... no. if you run up to me looking for an honorable knife fight you're gonna die. by RE or CBr whichever works...
now if you run at me like a sneaky bastard with knives I might pull out my own to shut down any notion that you can pull that cheese on me. but don't mistake that for a knife fight, it's me saying "I'm better than you and I know it". knive aren't some honorable skill kill for me, they are an insult. "you didn't check around the null cannon before hacking? how can I punish that oversight in the most extreme way possible?"
