just now I found out why everyone will be xxxxxx by duoble hardened tanks, they are unkillable or even unhurtable here why: 1 shield hardener=60% resist, 2 = 99.99% resist, so EVEN MCC'S CANNON CAN'T KILL A DOUBLT HARDENED DROPSHIP 1 armor hardener=40% resist, 2 = 60-80% resist, but armor give MUCH more hit points, so still op ok now talk about damage mods, if any noob ask my why don't use damage mods on they that 3 damage mods give 100% extra damage, I could anser them that DAMAGE MODS give 30% EXTRA DAMAGE BUT NOT ARMOR/SHIELD PENETRATION so I think it is something MUST fix in next patch, limit the abilty on putting 2 hardener on tank or decrese it's resist when 2 of them are on

Double Shield Hardener is 80.8% reduced damage, not 99.99%. Double Armor Hardener is 60.8% reduced damage. Damage mods are 30%, 63.9%, and 91.95% for 1, 2, and 3 respectively.
Armor modules does give more HP but they also need to fit a Repairer to repair any damage, meaning that a double hardened Armor vehicle is not higher in HP than a double hardened Shield vehicle. |

Occasionally I fly a triple hardener python. In theory I should have 200% resist to most AV if they are additive or about 166.4% if they have stacking penalties. Using 2 at the same time should give 140% if additive or 132.2% if stacking penalties are there.
In practice blaster tanks, forges and rail tanks can tear through that. The IAFG and breach forge gun can plow through my shields but the other forges are nullified for some reason. The swarm launchers are pretty much worthless while I have 2 or more going but they're kinda weak against even a single hardener.
From my end, if seems like they calculate the damage first and then the shield moves to correct it, but if the damage is enough to push my shield down first or at a fast enough rate I'm dead. I do think that the hardeners stack because I see a huge difference between all three of them but, I'm not exactly sure how it works.
And yeah MCC cannons still one shot through hardeners.
