This would be cool some levels could vary how high how far and how long ur in the air just seems weird that every planet in new eden is the same plus lets fight on moons and maybe large asteroids.

The devs have discussed points like this before, but if and when we'd ever see something like this is anybody's guess.

I, for one, would like to see some trees (and other foliage) and running water as an alternative to some of these barren planets. Give me a variety of environments, CCP. How about our occasionally boarding a battleship or assaulting a moonbase? |

Yep, much like most of the players, the devs would prefer to have
Full roster of T2 weaponry Full roster of T2 suits Full roster of T1 equipment Full roster of T2 vehicles (calling vehicles after 1.7 T2) Full roster of T1 turrets Full roster of T3 maps and si units (gallante research facility is a T3 to me) Full roster of game modes, including PvE Complete player market, npc market, loyalty market Improved sandbox feel, getting upto more things both in and out of battle.
First adding the cooler shizzle like Titan insertions Space Station maps Asteroid maps and and moods Pasively hostile environments Skycannons Different environmental effects etc come later as we don't, need them as much.
I would prefer to have a balanced weapon over moon boots anyday.

It's a good idea and maybe someday, but there's more important things for them to put in first.
If it helps, humanity is more likely to have settled the planets that are closest to earth in terms of gravity, length of day and atmosphere as they would take less time and support to be viable for human habitation as we've evolved to be in this level of gravity, this atmosphere and with roughly 25 hours in the day, split into (roughly) equal periods of day and night. These are the planets that most likely have facilities that mercs would be hired to take and hold.
When I play as a sniper, I'm more likely to be nearer to the opponents redline than my own.

Plasma being the forth state (gas solid liquid and then plasma) same stuff lighting is made of would not be overly effected by gravity as its to fast and is only locked onto a place to loose its charge. However it depends of the g's involved and ur talking black hole gravitys that can bend light(not a safe place 4a merc)
