Just curious if you think we'll see any (proper) light Minmatar AV weapons in the next 6 months or if you think it'll be at least 6 months until you get around to it. I'd LOVE to have something to use other than Caldari tech or the PLC to take vehicles out with. |

Throwing Matari RE's on a Gallente or Caldari LAV and trying to hit a tank with it before it taps you with it's guns or before a stray red shoots at your car hardly makes for a "light Minmatar AV weapon". |

Remote Explosives and Proximity mines seem to be pretty good for now.
Of course each one could use a little buffing. |

RE's are not light weapons however. They are more like troll equipments for insta-gibs on infantry and are only good against stupid tankers who don't pay attention to what they are doing or what infantry around them is doing. Basically, they are half luck and half skill as AV, which is a ****-poor means of AVing. Buffing them will just make them even more of a problem for infantry, but not take out the fact that they are half luck-based.
However proxy mines could definitely use a buff.
Neither RE's nor proxies do anything to redline tankers, and for AV to be reasonably effective it needs to be able to hit any vehicle who isn't behind cover if you are good with it. Meaning range. RE's and proxies automatically disappear if dropped in the redline, so they are useless in this role. |

Buffing remotes wouldn't be much of an issue for infantry, seeing as how they already OHK almost every suit. And Jihad Jeep is not only effective, it's fun!

The minmatar commando is already the best suit for the swarm launcher, the mins just stole the caldari weapon
