So i played in early beta and know we had bpo's to have a unlimited supply of modules etc..
I cant find them anywhere on market, and was wondering Were they removed?
If so why?
Also,
I heard some people talking about some event going on now. What is it?
I've been away from the game for a while and just need some catching up :)

They removed BPOs from the market because CCP feels they will be bad for the economy when the player market comes out. |

LOLOLOL. Meanwhile all of Molden Heath is printing ISK.
I spent half my ISK on gambling, alcohol and wild women. The other half I wasted.

They were removed because CCP does not feel having unlimited items will be healthy in the open market, I personally agree
If you would like to buy some BPO's contact me in-game or check my sig, i sell Templar BPO's some of the last few BPO's you can still acquire.

Very valid point too. But nooooooo. Taking away BPOs of militia gear is the answer! CCP logic!!!!

Speaking from an economic point of view (I'm an experienced market trader in Eve Online) I would say that removing the Dust BPOs from the market was the logical thing to do. It's ok to let the current owners to hold onto the BPOs that they already bought since no more are coming into the market and their economic impact will fade as the population grows. Kind of like the Tech 2 BPOs in Eve Online.
Also, if BPOs were to ever be re-introduced, it would be highly likely that they would be the sort of BPOs/BPCs you find in Eve Online... require minerals to manufacture.

I agree. Me being a 4 year eve vet I to think they might end up like t2 bpos in eve. I could understand them taking them out though.
Also what about this event? |

I think I'd like that. :) But it also means Dust players somehow have to get their hands on minerals, and have a way to manufacture... unless you can maybe give orders to eve players to manufacture for you, while still hanging to the BPOs... OR... BPOs are only available to EVE players who can manufacture and sell their goods to Dust mercs. I think this last one is the best Idea, encourages player interaction between the two games even further than merely taking and giving contracts, encourages even more competition in the EVE market, and give much choice variety of suplliers to Dust mercs. That would be great. :D

I had this same thought a while back. If this happened there would be a flood of ISK in Dust and would make EvE players actually care about us mercs.
I will pay 1 Billion ISK for a Thale's TAR-07 Sniper Rifle BPO.
