I hate to say it but "I called it". A long time ago in fact, in reference to many of the names on your list. CCP should've never listened to them, they did just what I knew they would. They stuck around for a little and then moved on to another game like the vultures they are. They were around long enough to troll CCP and the community and then leave us with the mess they created.

They left, just like the majority of the player base, because the CCP has failed to deliver a full and coherent experience. This game is still a disjointed, unbalanced, grindy, mess. The fact that many of the people who spent the most time contributing to the beta have left doesn't reflect well on the game or the devs.
Impatience is no excuse. I see you are still here and TBH, you aren't one of the names I was referring to.
Do I think CCP is doing everything right?
No.
Am I willing to let CCP take their time and get their FPS legs?
Yes.
However, I will say that CCP needs to be more concerned with setting themselves apart from run of the mill shooters rather than trying to steal a piece of Activisions pie. Am I saying that they can just let shooter mechanics go out the window? No, though they have made progress with that in the long run, might not be the greatest though it is coming along.
If Dust is meant to be an MMOFPS, both halves need to be addressed simultaneously rather than allowing one half to be neglected to atrophy while the other half gets the silver spoon catering. Many of those names wanted just that for the FPS portion of Dust, **** the MMO, focus on making a shooter and nothing more.
They are the ones I say good riddance to.
