I'm guessing Scheneighnay talked you into trying to relive our glory days....
First things first, why forgo the repper thus requiring you to return to a supply depot yet put ammo expansion on it as if going out for the long haul. I understand 0 CPU/PG cost filler but really: - Blaster hit detection is awful, remove blaster unless Ion Cannon. I don't know how Vexes uses it better than the railgun. + Like mentioned above, rails are the way to go. They mop up infantry and can get some marginal effect on vehicles. - Plates are kind of out unless paired with repper, especially when you can fit a hardener in it's wake usually - Plates do terrible things to vehicles these days so if you do go plates go booster as well. + Damage amps aren't necessary if you use Railgun + Damage amps + Railgun racks in some vehicle hurt if you got the time.
So I would get some better skills if I were you so I wouldn't be operating a Methana with the efficacy of a Baloch. However I have made a pretty durable Baloch recently as well, a joke LOL fit if you will but it could take hits (it had mCRU that's why it was joke fit)
Kind of cool that you're trying to carry on some faint BSOTT remnants. Speaking of which I have filled my second padawan seat with Snow Turtle who's gonna be trained up into a fine LAV operator.
If you're going AV Missiles would probably be better just because they don't get reduction to damage. Talk to Xeon or Foundation Seldon. Really they've been doing LAVs as long as I have but more dedicated.

Foundation Seldon wrote:Typically when we (Bojo, Vexes, X/N-Eon) run a LAV squad it's setup for 2 people per vehicle, the advantage is that the Gunner can switch down to the passenger seat when they've taken too much damage and can use that time to regen their HP as the driver puts them in a safer position. We use Militia Heavy suits for their low price and high durability and Methanas equipped with Scanners, Armor Hardeners, and an Armor Repair. Naturally the ADV. Railgun is our turret of choice.
Yep that's the Attack Squad alright However I did use to run a little more....traditional(?) LAV squad as follows: Driver Gunner Heavy + HMG So basically we operated on two turrets in essence and the driver would pop out and help hack while the gunner watched the car and the objective. We played FTW and FTWP (For The War Points!). Honestly though the current setup is pretty action packed by comparison.
