The dren and templar scrambler pistols both have militia fitting requirements. This is something that finally has to get changed with the launch of 1.8!!! Make them both 11CPU 2PG like the standard scramblers. It only makes sense considering everything that's going into 1.8!!! It would only take literally minutes to accomplish and satisfy the highest paying players in dust514!!! |

All of the Templar weapons and equipment (don't have Dren, so I can't say) have Standard fitting requirements.
The Templar Scrambler Pistol has Militia fitting requirements. It should be changed like the OP says to be in line with Standard fitting requirements. I don't know anything about game development, but having said that it seems like this would literally take less than half an hours time to accomplish for a hot fix within the week.

If that's the case, then it shouldn't be any problem to make an adjustment like that. But then again, what do I know about coding a game?
Anyways, Templar owners shouldn't have a problem with this kind of change since this would actually benefit the owners. I would say this is something that should be a little high in the list of priorities right now. But right now, dropsuit and weapon parity seems to be much higher in the list.

But seriously though this has been an issue for as long as I been playing and people point it out time and time again but ccp is too lazy to fix it. I understand they got a lot on their plates but this is just a matter of changing a few value's in the coding, which should only take a short time.. That's what's with the exclamation points... |

I got two thumbs and toe up for CCP.
E: I will be quietly protesting this issue along with the worked KBM support by spamming tanks in the Academy. I wanted to be better than that I really did but CCP broke me. All I can do is make sure everyone around me suffers.

It's been deemed 'by design'. This is more less to change the **** poor design. Almost everyone i know thought they were getting a standard scrambler, with standard fitting requirements. Me included!!! |

Yep, scrambler (dren & templar), the swarm launcher (dren) and the recruit SMG are all wrong.
By design is such a transparent lie it isn't funny.
While there is no better place to be wealthy than the Gallente Federation, there is no hell worse for the poor either.
