Again another reason I favour removing MLT tanks after the introduction of other vehicles.
Its this mindset that ruined tank battles and relegated them to redline sniping taking all of the fun out of them... tbh I haven't had fun piloting a tank in 1.7.

Thats a great idea, why not remove militia suits as well and while we're at it lets remove everything thats militia. No Its this mentality of people that only spec into tanks that gets on my nerves. They state militia tanks are too powerful against non-militia tanks. How many times have people been killed in proto suits by starter fits.? The description of militia is pretty much same as standard but more fitting requirments/less pg cpu if its a suit. Buy speccing in and buying better items for you tank/suit does not grant you a win it merely increases your chances against other players.
I mean to say this only because with such a high SP investment and ISK investment you decrease the number of **** poor tankers on the map...though I don't just say this because I dislike the tank spam or bullshit **** poor rail snipers like you, which I do intensely, it would essentially make tanks Tech II gear.

-Removal of Large Blaster - Direct Battle Cannon Parity - Small turret buffs - resignation of HAV away from all anti infantry roles - slight speed and handling nerfs - increases on active module recharge times - AV buffs

Remove large blasters and large railguns and only having rockets would probably make tanks perfectly balanced.

I'm simply not a fan of MLT tanks being as effective as they are, and by god are they effective, I use them occasionally but typically with more powerful modules and turrets..... unfortunately unlike with infantry the Protosuit has a massive EHP and slot buff over MLT fits, not to mention fitting of weapons.....
Tanks are balanced against one another very closely. There are very few benefits, admittedly the extra slots are very useful, to having put SP into HAV when MLT tanks are as efficient if not more so than their supposedly superior SP variants.

By far for effective, having the handling in CQC if it ever gets that far wins you matches, also means you can reposition that much more easily....and gain access to the 60% hardeners for the limited time you will be engaging.
