This event will consist of several rounds of head to head combat against two teams of heavy and logistics players. It is primarily intended for the players within the Heavy/Logi Funzone chat channel but I'm opening it up to ANY player who has either of these classes. Time: XX : XX Date: XX / XX / 2014 Place: (As in server) Number of rounds: X Support Staff (Need 6) - - - - - - Prize: X Players: X This event is still under works and I will attempt to update this thread regularly. Maybe with some help from CCP we can get this topic sticky and maybe even a little help with the server? Thanks CCP Foxfour

I like to think that they are called Heavies instead of Sentinels because everyone uses the Heavy Frame as opposed to the Sentinel. then why differentiate between logi and assault? they are both medium frames should we just call the mediums? sentinel is a specialization of heavy frame the fact that there is no basic heavy frame is a failing of ccp's sentinels and commandos are heavy frames yes but are not simply heavies if you consider the standard amar heavy as the basic frame heavy suit and then the sentinel and commando as specializations it works out better when all the racs are in they will all have heavy suits..ie basic heavy frame..and sentinel and commando as further specializations similar to logi and assault being specializations of medium frame and scout and possibly pilot suits?? being a specialization of light frames jihhhaders = av lvl 0 swarm master = av lvl 99+

Something that I've been wanting to try for a bit now is getting a squad together that is built like so: 2 Logi: Both Armor tanked and running Traditional Logi setups of PRO Equipment (Allotek Hives, Dual Channel Core Reps Leash, Wiyrkomi Injector). 2 Heavies: Armor Tanked to the 9's, carrying an HMG 2 Gal Assaults: Both Armor Tanked to the 9's, each carrying a Wiyrkomi Injector. Each trio takes an LAV and posts up at an objective. The Logi keeps reps on his partners (the assault and the heavy) while they murder every thing that comes at them. If either of them go down, he (or the Assault) picks them up with the Wiyrkomi, if the logi goes down, the assault picks him up. I think that it would work very nicely and if both trios posted up at the same objective, the only thing dislodging them would be an Orb I would assume.
