This event will consist of several rounds of head to head combat against two teams of heavy and logistics players. It is primarily intended for the players within the Heavy/Logi Funzone chat channel but I'm opening it up to ANY player who has either of these classes. Time: XX : XX Date: XX / XX / 2014 Place: (As in server) Number of rounds: X Support Staff (Need 6) - - - - - - Prize: X Players: X This event is still under works and I will attempt to update this thread regularly. Maybe with some help from CCP we can get this topic sticky and maybe even a little help with the server? Thanks CCP Foxfour

Main point of this post is to continue my efforts in encouraging others to call Sentinels what they are, Sentinels, instead of just assuming Heavy and Sentinel are one-and-the-same, because they are not. I like to think that they are called Heavies instead of Sentinels because everyone uses the Heavy Frame as opposed to the Sentinel. Fair enough, though in 1.8 I doubt people will stick as basic heavies over the new sentinels. Also, "ANY player who has either of these classes." Heavies are not really a class. Sentinels are. That aside, I'd say that all logistics players cannot equip rifles. Weapons like mass drivers, lasers, plasma cannons, nova knives, etc to let the heavies do all the work. I don't want to get RR'd across the map before I can even get my heavy close enough to fight. I wanted to add weapon restrictions for the giant q sync battle, but I also have to let the commandos play. I will think about what can and can not be used. Thanks CCP Foxfour
