How are you 'supposed' to use it, then? Just spam the trigger? Consecutive charged shots? Straight trigger spam is subpar for killing one guy, and the same with charged shots - that second shot takes quite a bit of time, and if you miss...
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

Reread our posts did we say anything about how the weapon is supposed to be used used?
You are heavily implying that my using it in this manner is incorrect somehow.
And for what it's worth, heat DOES build up while it's charging.
The charge+spam combo is actually the entire reason the ScR is inherently more skilful than other weapons - while it blitzes 1v1s, effectively using that combination in multiple combats takes practice in a way that other rifles tend not to. Because they don't punish you for missing in at all the same way.

Two-three seconds? It's easy; go work on your trigger finger. My ScR overheats after just over 2s, if I'm spamming I can get about 18 shots. I do this regularly. Unfortunately my gungame isn't good enough to maximise the applied DPS...
When I'm trying to see how fast I can fire, just spamming he trigger without a target, I can get 21 shots before overheat.
