It's time, gentlemen.
Time to throw off the bonds of economic cowardice and let laissez faire create the balance. Tens of thousands of Dusties have useless salvage. Tens of thousands of capsuleers are ready to produce dropsuits and weapons for them.
Why are you waiting to add another exciting facet to E.V.E.'s economy while stifling interest in Dust's economy? The groundwork is laid. Let's do this already! I thought you Icelandian and migrant multicultural devs were all about paving the way to the future of gaming. You've forged ahead, laying waste to all obstacles only to hesitate at the brink of Utopia.
Open the gates and let your community build on the foundation you've laid.
It's time, gentlemen.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. The only thing I think should be done first is the DUST player market. Then the integration with EVE. I have to admit though with EVE players giving DUST free money **** would get out of hand quickly. There would be no end to the proto gear and where would it stop? Also what purpose would it serve New Eden? BTW I want those EVE players making my dropsuits. They should make a new one , just for me, Caldari Cko Five high four low two equipment slots no sidearm and six grenade slot. Name it "The Squagga" unlimited CPU and PG obviously
I agree with your concern about proto gear being used more often, that's crossed my mind too. I think cheaper proto suits would help the little guy more than you think though. Well connected players in the major corps already proto stomp public matches as it is, while players with less income (like me) are forced to leave their proto gear on the shelf for fear of losing it. If I lose 10 suits I've got to play ambush in militia suits for two hours to make the money to replace them. And as far as players who don't have the SP to fit proto gear, haven't we all been there?
The benefit to New Eden would be the creation of a new market with new dynamics. This is always a good thing for capitalism. My point is that CCP needs to stop trying to be the Federal Reserve and just let the market sort itself out. Free markets always do, and more quickly than you would think.
Hope you've got a patent pending for The Squagga. Sounds like the next big thing.

Ecologists study, and occasionally help, ecologies. Economists study, and occasionally help, economies.
Neither of them are the brains behind what they are involved with, however.
Exactly. Free market economies always thrive. It's "experts" interfering and trying to reinvent the wheel that damage free markets. Just look at the terminally ill US market for more evidence than you need.
