At the proto level it will have four lows and two highs. I would personally put two complex plates, complex rep, and a complex range extender in the lows. While it will be slower than the other scouts, it will still be quite a bit faster than the Amarr Assault and will be able to attain similar armor values as well. As people catch on to this who play the Amarr Assault role, I'd expect to see a massive jump to the Amarr Scout simply because it comes across as a speedier assault.
I can't really find anything inherently "scout-like" about the Amarr Scout, but perhaps it was designed to be the "tankier/front lines scout"...what are your thoughts?

Anyways, I'm not kidding. Try this fit on for size.
Low Slots 1x Complex Armor Plate (Don't worry about speed, we get to that later) 1x Complex Kincat (gets rid of that speed penalty) 1x Complex Regulator (See values below) 1x Complex Profile Dampener
High Slots 1x Complex Shield Extender 1x Complex Light Damage Mod
Weapons Carthum AScR Viziam ScP M1 Locus
Equipment Allotek Stable Drop Uplink Compact Hive
OVERALL STATS 148 Shields, 454 Armor. (602 eHP on a scout. Dang) Sprints at 8.3 (But you already knew that. I am also guessing, since they haven't released Amarr scout sprint speeds) 620 Stamina 110 recovery a second (You will never stop sprinting at that 8.46, and you have almost 2x the eHP of every scout)
Pros: Light Assault Personified. You are fast, tough, and dampened. No cloak, but you pack uplinks and a Proto AScR and damage mods. This weapon will deal roughly 737 DPS versus shields, which will murder any shield scout you encounter. The main strength of this build is the ability to get to a flank and go to town, or the ability to rush into an unprotected area (undetected), lay down uplinks and defend the area until reinforcements arrive
Cons: Still slow for a scout, and lacks a real role outside of it's light assault role. You can shoehorn it into a scanning fit using your lows, and while it would be somewhat effective it would be a waste for this suit.
Imagine this: You and your glorious Amarr assault squad are heading to an objective. The Heavy and Logi are hanging back, letting the Assaults try and clear the area before heading in. The scout is the first on the scene though, moving in and killing the first few people it see's by surprise. It puts up light resistance until the Assaults move in. The real battle starts, with Laz0rs flying everywhere. Then the Heavy and Logi show up, and they proceed to go to town with their reinforcements.
Sound about right?
