So...
Logitech H800 (bluetooth) headset
Works great under PS3 settings (Connected, input and output work)
Voice Chat Enabled is on under settings
PTT is on (I use a KB, so hitting Z is no problem)
Voice is activated and enabled under squad
I press Z in game and I can see the mic icon
I used to hear people use voice all the time in beta and right after release. I left for a while, came back about a week ago and haven't heard a single person use voice. I join squads that say mic required and I don't hear anyone. I try talking and nobody answers or acknowledges me at all, on voice or text.
So first, is there something I'm missing? Some setting I should have checked that isn't? Any troubleshooting advice?
Is there a way in game to do a mic check, like through the settings menu or something?
Or does nobody bother with voice anymore? |

I do not know if your problem is unique.
Whenever anybody starts dust514, and logs in, voice will not work.
If you log your character out, and log your character in again, It does work.
People have complained about this before.
I'm sorry if this is not your issue. |

Thanks for the tip Skull, I'll give it a shot later and report back. Do you know if this affects both input and output (hearing others)? |

It affects both hearing and being heard.
It also disallows changing of channels. |

Got the same problem, logging out and back in solves the problem as skull already said, but it's rather annoying that this bug is still in.
(I also get disconnected after a few matches when loading in to a new battle if I forgot or don't care to relog at the start.) |

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this, I still haven't had much time to play in recent days. I did manage to get on and test it though and I think that fixed my problem. Thanks
