Did it with the FEC and now I realized that PC doesn't matter much.

i disagree, it is the most organised thing in this game. i would rather have a good challenging match in PC than watch the stupidity in pub matches. it would just be nice if it only consisted of corps that deserve to be there and can field a full team of their own rather than standing on the shoulders of giants making it impossible for anyone to really challenge the smaller PC corps. this is why people think PC doesn't matter much because of all the corps in PC you end up fighting the same people over and over, no matter which corp you attack (of course this doesn't apply to those who do field their own).
but other than that i enjoy PC matches and then there is the iskys from the clones :) |

+1
Yeah, I love PC and I love DUST 514, both of which are 'supposedly' dead and broken, if one were to listen to everything the naysayers say...lol.
I've fought in PC from the beginning till now with both Zion TCD and SVER. It's the best part of the game and a total rush, especially running with veteran FCs, like SVER's, who know what da feck their doing. It's a blast!
My advice to the noob corps: just jump in and fight! Don't worry about permission and rules. Get your iskies together by any means possible and get in on it. You might get stomped, but learn from it and carry on. Don't give up. It's a place where the big boys play, as it should be! |

Very well said.
It's not about getting stomped so much as it is about learning from your losses/mistakes. Let me give you a specific example...
A few weeks ago, we got cloned out at the end of the match because our team was unclear on what happens when a clone is killed/bleeds out and how the clone counter is decremented. The loss stung, but we learned a very valuable lesson.
Last night, we experienced the exact same situation, not once, but twice. This time, we did the right thing and stopped spawning in, and we won both nail-biting rounds.
TL;DR: It's not how you lose or how many times, but rather if you learn and can apply your lessons, that really count....Leadfoot

You took a break Bob O.o. When you're constantly getting into battles for nothing other than pride and useless ISK(you have nothing to spend large sums of ISK on right now) it becomes tiresome. Most vets I talk to hate PC as it is right now. Some people even avoid it... It becomes a second job without any benefit.

The only thing EoN learned from that war was that 100+ games a day gets boring. |
