Depleted delay
Sorry the subject box was too short
My python is too weak against a forge unhardened, I would like to lower the delay so I cant be 3 shotted if I wait for the delay.

In a incubus, alt character, if I afterburner away from a forger, going left from thier point of view basicly, they can still easily hit you. |

My best python fit is 1x complex shield ex, 1x enhanced heavy shield ex, and complex AB. I also have a dual hardener 1x basic heavy ex. And a non buffer tanked, unhardened dropship should be taken out pretty easily without hardeners.
In either case, they key to attacking forges is to orbit them as high and in as tight of a circle as you can (it's easier with an AB, you can actually go near virile and orbit much faster than they can track). This keeps your gun focused on them while making it very difficult to track you, and when things go south, you have enough momentum to make an easy getaway (and when you're running away, be somewhat random in your movements, and remember, you climb faster by tilting back with forward momentum.)
The delay buff wouldn't be worth it anyway. The best it'd get is a 3 sec delay. A 4 sec delay to +200 hp/sec is more than enough to get by.
