Except the Caldari sentinel only gets one low slot, ever (which would be better served with literally anything other than an armor repairer) and stacking extenders would increase the recharge delays significantly - on top of it taking more time to cook a flux than it would to just wait for the shields to start charging on their own.
But other than that, spot on. |

But other than that, spot on. Actually he is right. If the shield extender increases the delay, it would be faster to flux yourself and wait for the depleted delay. P.S The fuse is shorter if you just throw it at the ground instead of cooking.
Except if you stack extenders, one flux grenade won't be enough to deplete your shields thanks to the resistance to splash damage. |

But other than that, spot on. Look how much armor the Caldari sentinel gets, 390 hp from the start and 487.5 hp with armor upgrades to 5. Using that one low slot for anything other than an armor repairer just doesn't make sense. Blame CCP for making both the Caldari Sentinel and Gallente Sentinel dual tankers.
Yes, 5.75hp/s will be so beneficial, especially on a suit where if you get into armor you're doing it wrong anyway. Equipping a module that will repair the suit's 488hp in 85 seconds is significantly less useful than literally anything else you could put in that low slot.
A kincat would allow you to run to the nearest supply depot and swap suits faster than that 85 seconds. A regulator would stop you from getting into your armor so much and is really what the suit should have on it anyway. If you're truly a bad player, an armor plate would give you more buffer before death. A CPU upgrade (or hell, leaving the low slot empty) so that you can equip a better recharger/energizer would be more beneficial than an armor repper.
There is literally not a worse choice than an armor repper for the low slot of the Caldari suit. The fact that people are even considering it gives me a migraine. |
